SAFETY TIPS

rope pulling

Rope pulling exercises will work your arms and back muscles.

get started

Begin your training at the lowest speed to get used to handling the rope and then try lifting your body weight a little.

incline, then climb

Scaling up to more experienced athletes, one would plant their feet on the angled platform. The key here again is foot placement. The higher your feet go up the platform, the more dificult the reps will be. Once you feel comfortable with the angled platform, you’ll find yourself ready to leave the ground completely and climb the rope.

Your first progression is going to be using your lower body to help carry your weight. With one foot on top of the other, you’ll pinch the rope between your feet, and use this to give your upper body a rest as you climb hand over hand.

legless rope climb

Once you’ve graduated from the first progression, you’re ready for the ultimate upper body pulling workout, a legless rope climb.

With this movement you’ll climb the rope, hand over hand, never utilizing your feet or lower body to support your weight, which really isolates the upper body.

This is a great exercise to build upper body strength and muscle by using your body weight.

Features

Speed control (slow, medium and fast) and timer display to track progress.
